·      The median selling price of an open-market FSBO home was $185,000, while the median price for agent-assisted sales was $215,000. That is a difference of 16.2%.

·      Even allowing for a commission of 6%, the agent assisted sale delivers a lot more to the seller.

·        The number of unrepresented sellers plummeted to a record low 11 percent over the past year. In today’s challenging marketplace, many buyers are taking their time and exercising caution when investing in homeownership.

·        Although there are sites that cater to unrepresented sellers, their total listings are in the tens of thousands in contrast with nearly 4 million homes showcased on REALTOR.com.
